Lindsay Stead
Lindsay Stead is a designer and maker based in Toronto, Canada. She received formal training in furniture and textile design at Sheridan College’s school of Craft & Design. It was during her studies that Lindsay’s appreciation of objects that are not just well designed, but also well crafted, really took shape.
After finishing school, Lindsay’s primary focus has been quilt making. For close to ten years she has been designing and making quilts in her very distinct aesthetic. With a love of neutral colours, negative space and asymmetry, she updates traditional quilt patterns to create more contemporary pieces.
